Otter has worked as a qualified Thai massage therapist for the last five years and runs a massage clinic in Brussels, Belgium called Safer Healing. The clinic is run as a body-positive, safer space and is focused on the LGBTQIA+ communities of the area and other groups that face body oppressions and need more safety in their bodywork. She also co-founded the Radical Bodywork Network to open conversations about making massage more inclusive and a political tool of change.
“The most important thing for me in my practise is safety and comfort. Without the safety to relax and to build trust in a session, I don’t believe that healing can be anywhere near as effective.”
